The clock points just past eleven and Maken falls silent, his head bowed. “Maken?” Megan looked at him with concern; everyone looked at him with concern. “Let me take a breath.” Swipe agreed, “Yeah. He’s been talking for over three hours.” Another heavy silence follows. Rica spoke up, “Um. I’ll get some more tea.” “You shouldn’t have to do all that yourself. Let me help you.” Megan got up with her. “I’ll go get us some snacks. I’m kind of hungry.” Swipe got up and Makenzie followed, “Hey how do you know where the snacks are!?” Maken and Vivi sit in silence.
In the kitchen, “But I'm so shocked that Mr. Maken was an assassin,” said Rica.” “Oh yeah you didn’t know that he was the legendary MakenZero assassin,” Makenzie eating a honey bun, “I can’t believe he was married and at thirteen too.” Swipe butted in, “That’s not that surprising. During that age of time from what I hear, someone like Maken to be an incredible fighter back then was consider an adult at that age. To take up a weapon and fight for what you believe in and for the people who are oppressed.” “Really?” Makenzie pondered as Swipe nodded, “They called it coming of age. If you want to be a fighter and master the sword, you should remember that Makenzie. Even as a girl remember that. And at 18, a woman was halfway through marriageable age.”
“What are you trying to say?” Megan (age 22.) “Nothing,” Swipe looked at her weird. “I'm free to get married whenever I want. A stranger has nothing to say about it.” Swipe shook his head and thought to himself, “That’s why I didn’t say anything,” (out loud), “But we really don't know where we stand yet.” “About what?” Makenzie wondered. Rica nodded, “You’re right.” Megan looked at Swipe and Rica, “You think so too?” “Don’t ignore me!” Makenzie pouted.
Swipe continued on, “MakenZero’s wife. No. Maken’s wife.” Megan spoke up again, “We're still only halfway through the story, so maybe it's inevitable, but where she came from, who she is, what she was really thinking, even if she truly loved Maken. It looks suspicious.” “That couldn't be true. How could she marry someone she didn't love?” Rica started to tear up. “I can't believe that he killed her. Whatever the reason, his own wife,” Makenzie looked down; they all looked down and fell silent. “We should go back. I’m worried about Vivi.” Rica walked out. “You’re right,” Swipe followed as Megan quietly said, “If she gives up on him now, I will never forgive her.” “What?” “Nothing let’s go already.”
Outside the mansion that’s hidden by the mountains. Jax, Kumar and Hans are sitting outside. Enishi comes to speak to them. “Ten days?” Jax looked confused. “Yes. I gave him my declaration of war this morning.” “Without a word to your comrades? I can't accept this,” Hans letting out a puff of smoke as he took some of his cigarette. “Suits me fine. All this waiting around isn't my style at all,” Kumar laughed. “A declaration of war is fine. But ten days is ridiculous. What do we need all that time for?” Jax asked. Enishi smiled at the thoughts of Ox working down in the basement with his fine tools.
“Because this time we're attacking on the enemy's home ground. No matter how cool-headed he is, he'll have to take us seriously then. You're free to attack him alone or together. But MakenZero at his peak was known throughout most of the last couple of wars as the strongest there was. If we fight, it will be a battle of our full strength against his, and that will mean total annihilation. Since that's the case, I thought we could use some new weapons. I've made arrangements with my organization in the Demon City, but since they'll have to be custom-made, ten days is the quickest I could make it. That's why.” “Isn't that self-contradictory? It used to be that once we had MakenZero’s attention, his head went to whoever got to him first. If you think about it, at that point, we six become enemies.” Jax added. Enishi heads back inside but replies, “I'm the kind of man to send his enemies salt.”
Jax, Kumar and Hans share the same thoughts. “Whatever he’s planning, in ten days MakenZero’s head will be mine!” Enishi walking through the hallways, “I give up. All this cat-and-mouse foolishness is so tiring. (Looking up) You must have heard me, Mr. Juba. It'll be in ten days. Don't forget.” Peering from a crack in the ceiling, “You make light of me. Enishi, what are you plotting? What is Ox building, down in the basement where there are no ceilings for me to crawl through?” “I wouldn't mind telling you, Mr. Juba. But you'd have to come down and meet me face to face.” There is a slight pause. “I'll give you some advice. I don't care what you and Ox are up to. I have no desire to interfere. But don't interfere with my slaughter of MakenZero, the only man to see me and live.”
Enishi enters his own room and sits down facing the window. “You and Ox.” My methods may coincide with Ox, but our objectives couldn't be more different. I don't need any of them, just as long as I have my sister, just me and her.” As always, her image appears before his eyes, smiling down at him. Tears begin to fill his eyes. Why? Why did you have to die?" Back where Maken and the others are. Everyone is seated with some food and drink in hand and lap. “Let’s go,” Swipe was ready. Maken still doesn’t speak. “Please let us hear the rest.” Vivi asked. “Very well, I will go on.”
(Real entry)
"Brief Intermission my @$$ RORY!"LOL Sorry sorry! Let’s catch up everybody! I didn’t realize that this was going to be even longer then the Nekam story arc I had. That one is 29 pages long. This one is already 27 and still have to finish the story telling part of Maken’s past then fight Enishi. It’s crazy right now. And everybody is getting ready to take final exams and such. I have an exam tomorrow in reading which shouldn’t be too hard. But I probably won’t be around. And for some reason I’m not getting the stuff I need for my classes for next year. So I need to look up on what’s going on.
I hope your enjoying the story. I know the it’s getting long and such. No fighting in sight anywhere for now. This second part of Maken’s past is going to be more action but it’s going to start out peaceful and such. I wanted the ages to be very different but brought together. With MakenZero being 13 now he was killing so many already. It’s scary but that’s how he was. You’ll find out how he came that way and how he learned all that stuff. There’s going to be a lot of surprises in the later ones.
It’s funny. It’s like I have to continually update to get everyone interested but these things take a lot of time and it’s not summer. I would be produce at least two a day. But it takes a couple days now to do just one. There’s been a slight problem I realized. I finally found my Kenshin OVA (1-4) on disc. Then when I read the version of Kenshin manga translations. They’re both quite different except the end. I have already written out of this story two years ago. Which goes by the movie. Yet both are good, but then lots of thigns won’t make sense. Like what he do to the six comrades guys you know. But I don’t think I have to explain everything of that hopefully. But some of it’s pretty cool.
However, I don’t like in the manga translation. He talked too much. In the movie he hardly talked, and everytime he did he was really cold. And all the action of him fighting, he wasn’t screaming war cries or anything. He was just killing so quickly before the guys could even scream. So I’m having difficult time when I get to that part. I want it to be the best. And when I wrote that out, the fights were more detailed. The fights haven’t been detailed in here, unless he’s doing one of his special sword moves. Which hasn’t been seen since NekamOrez fight pretty much. So we’ll see how it works out. Thanks for coming by as usual and reading. Please take care and I’ll come by as soon as I can get a real break. Take care.
