Hmm Christmas Eve eh?
sick dayI wonder did 2008 really go by that fast or really slow? I think it went by like an average year. There was a ton of stuff going on in it so it definitely got slowed down. All the political stuff did that I expected so it's been very interesting of what happened. Anyways time to move on.
Even on my off days I've been getting called in to work. Today as well but I just didn't pick up the phone. Sorry I'm not the same person, sure I still get taken advantage of or I'll say Yes because I hardly ever say NO like I should. Girl got sick and I saw it coming don't know why she took off your shoes and didn't wear a jacket going outside. Sure it was 70 degrees the day before but girl you didn't notice the cold front that moved in and that it dropped to 40 degrees, you don't even deserve a sick day brought that on yourself. Yet of course I went in. I'm actually getting tired of hearing my name. Rory do this Rory do that. The first time I've ever cringed at hearing my name. I do EVERYTHING in that store. I'm getting paid but if I'm going to be doing that much stuff I think I should be getting paid a bit more. so if that's not going to happen I won't be coming in as much for other people that's a bit fair.
Life's been actually alright outside of work that I keep complaining about. I met up with my oldest brothers (Emil) friends. Man I haven't seen them in a good long 10 years you know. A lot of them have kids now and talking to them is just so wonderful. Some are named after my brother too so it's really nice. Just knowing that they didn't forget but really remember all the good times they had with him before he passed away. I was still really young but understood what kind of person he was. Yet hearing it from his closet friends I couldn't help but think, just exactly how did attract such a big crowd of friends and these people now in their 30's still haven't forgotten. One can't even go back to his grave it was that horrid for them. Others go up there leave toy hot wheels or favorite CDs that he liked. Some even blame themselves this very day for his death. Just amazing even when he's not around they still think him more good than bad. The one job I know I can do for all these people is to actually go visit them and give them a sigh relief that things are ok and that I've never changed. First one I visited was Dana, she pretty much gave me an update on every single friend of his so I thought that was good. Some are doing good some are going through hard times, but I'm going to visit a lot of them before the end of the year and throughout 2009.
Not much else is going on. I told you guys I nearly lost my entire anime collection so I gotta fix that some how. Yet it's all about money. So it won't be for quite some time. I sure miss my Gundam 00 just trying to download all that stuff again is going to take FOREVER. =_=. Video game wise Chrono Trigger actually finally started picking back up, I've already beaten once but I'm still going to get every single character to level 99 on first try so really I haven't beaten the game really. The new dungeons are FINALLY starting to show their true colors. Even at being my highest level character is 86 lowest one is 72 they're having a little bit of a tough time. also started playing the Japanese Phantasy Star Online for the Nintendo DS. It is so cool!!! That's like the only MMORPG I probably play so it'll be interesting trying out and what not, but anyways I think that's really it. Tell me what all cool stuff you guys get and everything and... OH that's what I forgot!
If you guys still wanna send cards to me let me know. I wish I could send some this year too but can't. I've been loving some cards I've been getting. IT's really different when you get a card and a personal letter to you. Man I miss the feel of that and everything. so just let me know I do not care whatsoever if it's late or even if you just want to send some random card that's cool too. alright guys off to get at least some comic books so I can have something to read over christmas!
