Maken and others were walking home when loud sirens were heard quite clearly. “Sounds like a fire truck, so it seems to have something to do with that sound earlier,” Vivi pointed out. “Maken, you said it was an Armstrong Cannon? Shouldn’t you?” Rica came into the conversation with her sister, “I think so too.” “I just may be imagining things. We’ll check the sound out tomorrow it’s getting late.” Vivi patted Rica and her sister’s shoulders, “You’re right. It won’t do us any good worrying about it now.” “All right, another round of eating and drinking.” Swipe and Makenzie cheered. Vivi shook her head, “You still want to do that, I had it up to here with you guys.”
There was a screeching sound throughout the city, and more sirens. “Out of the way, out of the way,” said the police officer as he got out of his cruiser with a company of police officers after him. “Maken,” he called out. “Isn’t that funny cop looking guy who looks like Mr. Pringles?” Swipe laughed as both the girls clobbered him. “What is it,” Maken had a questioning look on his face. “Didn’t you hear it? That was a cannon shot. Someone fired on the city from the mountain area. A local restaurant took a direct hit! We’re mobilizing squads all around the mountain. There could be more shots be careful!” The police officer was out of breath.
Maken was already running his way to the mountain but was able to yell back, “I’m going to the mountain, go back to the restaurant it’s probably been the one damaged.” “Wait I’m coming too,” Swipe was running after him. “Me too,” Makenzie ran for them. Vivi yelled out, “Makenzie!” But they were gone. “Rica we should go back to your place.” When the girls got back to the restaurant, the restaurant is completely destroyed. Rica sniffled, “this is terrible, how could anyone.” Vivi hugged her, “Rica.” A man was out in the crowd and Rica noticed him immediately, and the man noticed her as well. “Rica!” “Father!” They clung to each other.
Makenzie is running as fast as she could, sweat drenching her clothes and she was heavily breathing thinking to herself. “Crap they’re so fast. Maken, but at least Swipe had too much as well. She stopped putting a hand on a tree, she started to throw up. At part of the mountain the police scour the peak around a giant fallen tree. Swipe looked at the sacred tree. “The tree’s been knocked over, but can’t see where they put the cannon.” “No look here,” Maken pointed at the deep foot prints. “He was probably carrying the gun when it was fired, and set it against the tree to take the recoil.” “You think it’s that one armed guy? He’s bigger then the man Priest I fought. And even if that’s how he fired it, there’s no way he could accurately target the Rica’s family restaurant from this distance.” “Still it can’t be coincidence that man appeared at the restaurant and was destroyed on the same day.” Maken looked at him.
“MakenZero, the culprit left a note!” The police officer earlier told them. There was only one word on the letter, reading “jinchuu.” He spoke softly, “Jinchuu.” The officer scratched his head, “I have no idea what that means.” Swipe looked over, “Didn’t they mean the word tenchuu?” “No tenchuu means “the judgment of heaven.” It was a word used a lot with the group I was with during my past. It expressed out intention of meeting out the justice of Heaven with our own hands.” The police officer tipped his hat, “So Jinchuu means.” Maken cut him off, “Even if Heaven spares you, we will bring you judgment.” It is an expression totally opposite kind of justice.” “There are still a lot of people who do not like the new government. Well this isn’t getting us any where, we’ll talk to you later Mr. Zero,” the police moved off.
“So it was him.” Swipe spoke. “No he wasn’t working alone. A single individual couldn’t get his hand on an Armstrong Cannon. I don’t have proof of this, but they are avengers come to bring justice by their own hands to I, who have killed so many but received no punishment from Heaven.” Maken told him. “Maken,” Swipe looking concerned at him, he hadn’t heard him talk like that before. Not even at the Nekam fights. “It’s all right.” He began to think, “I am prepared to accept my pass and my sins.
(Real entry)
Sorry about the delay. There isn’t much to say. College sucks, I’m working on it. People have gone crazy taking pills and cutting over here, so got to stop that. But I like the way this ended. The last two paragraphs were really good. Especially the very last sentence, I love stuff like this. Brittany apologized, and so did I even if I wasn’t the one to blame. It just felt like I needed to do that. Pray for me God I so need it. ::shakes head::
