A devil wrapped in flame, Nekam disappeared into the fire laughing. What was the meaning of the last laugh? No one understood. And so--

They stand staring at the blackened stones. "There's no trace left, he really just did burn away," Swipe looked over at Maken. "You won." "No." Maken bowing his head. "He didn't lose! He did not lose! Lord Nekam cannot lose!" Mr. Trent runs away screaming. Vincent turned his head slightly, "He's gone mad." Yumi watch drops to the floor and Maken collapses. "Maken!" The doors creak shut. Swipe started to pound on the heavy iron doors. "Damn it, that bastard. It won't open. Even if I could use my new move it's way too thick!" Vincent remembering Nekam's words, "After the Amakakeru Ryuu no Hirameki, your attacking power is nil." "Damn him." Swipe looked panicked, "If we don't get out quick Maken will--"

"Stand aside." Swipe and Vincent looked over at Zage. He assumes the Gatotsu stance. "The Gatotsu." "Wait a minute you're hurt too!" Swipe yelled at him. Zage punches through the door, even though his legs started bleeding again he spoke, "I've gotten through more of these situations then you." Swipe slung Maken over his shoulder. They started across the walkway, but the entire structure started to shake. One of the chimneys bursts and falls over. "The battlefield it's exploding!" Swipe yelling.

Mr. Trent is down in the boiler room chopping at pipes with an axe. "Ha ha ha! Die, die! Everybody dies! If everyone dies no one wins, and Lord Nekam is invincible! Only Lord Nekam will forever be unbeaten!" A huge section of the walk way falls, leaving Zage stranded on the far side. "Za Zage!" Swipe looked back. "How annoying." He lights a cigarette. "You bastard, trying to run out again while you're ahead? What about our fight, huh? Answer me, Zage!" "I just got through telling you. I've gotten through more of these situations than you. Idiot." He turns and walks back towards the battlefield. "Zage!"

Mr. Trent screams with laughter as Nekam's headquarters is consume by flames. Later. Mr. Trent comes to, on his back in a grassy field. "So you are awake." The fallen Priest spoke to him. "Priest you saved me," he started to cry. "Why did you save me? Why didn't you let me die with Lord Nekam!" Nyx is behind them watching the smoke rise in the distance. "So Mr. Nekam and Miss Yumi are dead." She closes her eyes and opens them again and speaks. "Well, I will take my leave of you now." The fallen Priest looks at her. "Where are you going?" "I don't know. But I'm going to find out the truth for myself." Nyx smiles a beautiful smile that she always had but it seemed truly gorgeous and real, she walked away.

The fallen priest thinks back to earlier when he had fought Swipe.

(Flashback.) Swipe smashed his right hand into the priest face. Breathing heavily and bleeding from his mouth, he spit out quite a lot of blood and then spoke. "You're a fallen priest, it's not okay for you to blame things on who you believe in. You may have lost your wife to a disease, and yes that town did do you wrong setting your church on fire killing your children. Images of the priest coming back home to hear his children screaming, he saw the Mayor outside laughing. "What are you doing!?! My children!" He ran towards the church only to get knocked down and beaten by the mayor's thugs. "Priest, they were dirty little children and we were trying to tell you that they were getting in the way of our building more on the government's money. There's no way that church can stay there." Swipe snaps him out of it. "But you do not ever, ever fight, you're making your children haunt you when they have done nothing wrong! Don't push the blame on those children dying, they died for a reason and your God needed them for more purpose then here. I may. I may be a punk kid and not believe in God, but I'm not going to blame him for my problems."

(Present) He finally spoke. "I will turn myself in to atone for my crimes and sins." He turned to look at Mr. Trent. "What will you do? If you wish to die, I cannot stop you, but." "I’ll turn myself in as well. But not to atone. At the trial I’ll tell everyone about the battle! I’ll warn those government idiots about the need for policy in which the strong rule! For Lord Nekam and for the nation!" Some where in another area, Swipe, Maken, and Vincent have gotten out safely,they too watch the flames. Swipe yelled, "Damn him! He couldn’t die if you killed him, and he goes and kicks off at the last minute! That bastard."
