MakenZero came out of the snowstorm that the explosion caused he was walking slowly towards, where the woman had been going. He was bleeding all over the place; the blood came down all of his face it was as if his body was crying crimson tears. If you were looking closer his ears were bleeding really badly, he was so close to the assassin when he did the suicide trying to kill him along with him, MakenZero lost part of his hearing. “What was he to you?” Tatum asked. She looked up from the ground trying to hold herself together. “Wasn’t he the dearest being in world to you? I know that you were the one he loved most of all in this world. If that were not true, he would never have gone to the city. He wanted to be a hero for you, even though he was ill equipped as a swordsman.” She looked back down at the ground and spoke, “He should have stayed with me. If only he had stayed with me, I would have been happy.” Her arms started to shake of the turmoil that was going on. “It is man’s nature to strive to please his lover, his community, and the all-powerful syndicate he was in. Until he is certain of this achievement, he can never know true peace. That is why we must eliminate any threat to the syndicate, regardless of the severity of that menace. It is this attention to detail that has kept the peace for years. We are the keepers of this society, and we are in harmony with our human nature. We put our lives at risk to protect the happiness of the system. Can you understand that?”

MakenZero kept walking towards his goal, there seemed to be a reflection of him in the trees. Something was watching him up there waiting for him to die or to just pass by. She looked at the man once again; all she could do was listen it didn’t matter what was going to happen next it was going to happen. “Every man is full of sin.” MakenZero had stopped and looked up to see another assassin. This one was at least 6”11 carrying a 10-foot long axe. The blade of the axe was feet long and 2 feet thick. The guy swung it around his back and ran towards Maken. “We live and die in sin, it is our fate.”

The assassin was coming extremely fast at him and swung the massive weapon upon him. MakenZero blocked but stumbled back a bit from the heavy attack. The assassin swung it again, MakenZero barely blocked it but with the force of such a big weapon it knocked MakenZero into a tree. MakenZero was trying to catch his breath but something swooped down from the trees with lighting speed. It was an arm with finger blades on it. There in the trees was another assassin with a Freddie Kruger hand. It ripped into Maken’s right shoulder blood gushing everywhere now. He looked up and was surprised by that attack then realized that he forgot about the other assassin in front of him with the axe, he ducked the axe went into the tree cutting it down. “We will kill him to preserve the syndicate and the society as a whole. Your feelings for him are sinful. However, everybody is prone to make mistakes, but you must remember your fiancée. Remember your first love," Tatum reminded her.

He held his right shoulder with his left hand, the sword in his right hand was in the snow he was panting. MakenZero didn’t know how much more he could take, but it really didn’t matter to him he could care less. He spoke her name. The assassin with the axe came at him once again and swung the axe vertically down on him, MakenZero stumbled back only to get his back ripped up by the Freddie Kruger guy. He said her name again. He started to fall forward. They were going for the kill this time. Both of the assassins came down on him. MakenZero just kept saying her name even when death was only a few seconds away from him now. It happened in a flicker, he said her name again and he had stabbed the guy with the axe through the throat with his sword. MakenZero had also taken out a hidden short sword and sliced into the palm of the Freddie Kruger guy’s hand at the same time. The guy jumped back and was running off with the short sword stuck in his sliced hand while the big assassin turned slowly falling to the ground, they didn’t want to die but that’s too bad for them. Blood dripped into the snow and the guy’s hand grabbed at the snow but he was grabbing at something else, it was a trigger wire. The wire led to two tons of explosives down underneath them. Another suicide run. It ignited and the guy disintegrated in the orange flames that were coming towards MakenZero. MakenZero just stood there holding his right shoulder. He wasn’t doing anything to move away he just kept saying that girl’s name. They have now tried two suicide attempts on him. He was now half blind.

The mountains shook once again, Tatum narrowed his eyes. “He’s still so strong even after all this time, I see. As I expected, I will have to be the one who finishes him off.” He looked back at her still on the ground she was breathing in and out trying to take it easy but there was no need for that it was too late. “That it the way I will atone for allowing so many of my fellow friends and workers to die at his hand. I will avenge your fiancé for you. Feel free to watch his death. It would be the least you can do for your fiancé, who died as he tried to make you happy.” He walked outside into the snowstorm now waiting if MakenZero had made it through. He must have, he’s gotten this far and he’s the strongest of them all. She spoke her fiancé’s name. Enishi was standing by the tree holding the umbrella and could see the snow coming from the explosives drop on him. He was just so happy that he was getting his sister back, he wanted to see MakenZero die.
