“If I had been carrying a sword that night, would you have--,” MakenZero kept thinking of what the girl said. He was sitting alone in his room, staring out the window. He said to himself softly, “That was two weeks ago since she said that.” She opens the door with a broom in her hand. “I'm going to clean this room. Please leave for a while.” “I don't remember asking you to clean it.” “The landlady asked me to.” “In the midst of all this confusion, she has settled in with us.” MakenZero thought.
As he was getting down he sees a notebook, “What's this notebook?” “That's my diary. Don't read it, please.” “As if I would,” MakenZero said but thinking, “She really has settled in.” “Just to be sure,” she tucks the diary away. MakenZero storms out. In the hallway, he runs into Azusa. “Hey MakenZero.” “Azusa.” “Why the long face? You have a fight with your girl?” Maken with his killer eyes reaches for his sword. “Okay, okay! What's eating you? Jeez.” “Did you want something?” Azusa holds up a black envelope, “It is tonight, take care of it.” When the black envelope is sent, it means it will rain blood in the night. Only the single-minded repetition of Heaven's justice is all MakenZero can think of. Later that night MakenZero is washing his hands; the girl watches him. “Do you intend to keep killing like this?” MakenZero doesn’t answer.
The next day, Caesura, Azusa and Caesura’s assistant are sitting in a teashop, looking to passers-by like three strangers. “Her way of speaking, her bearing, her accustomed to live, even her taste in food--she's not from the capital. We have no evidence that she's tried to contact anyone. She's very unlikely to be our spy. She probably got into some trouble at home and ran off. A stray cat, just trying to stay off the streets,” Azusa reported. “It's still an interim report. It’s too soon for conclusions. What's her effect on MakenZero?” Caesura asked. “Not bad. It’s just.” “Just what?” “Lately his sword has been a little dull. That's what his inspectors say, anyway.”
That night the girl was doing some sewing in her room when there is a knock on the door. “Come in.” Caesura enters, “It's late; I'm sorry to disturb you.” “If you’re looking for MakenZero, he is out for tonight.” “I know. I'm his superior. I know all of his movements.” A little later the girl looks confused, “Madness?” “If we are to build a new age, we must let ourselves go mad now. We have to be mad enough not to turn away from our extreme justice. That is the driving force of the faction. MakenZero is the vanguard of this mad justice. He is fulfilling the harshest of roles.” “And so? You're telling me this because you want me to "fulfill a role"?” “I'm not telling you to do anything. I just want to you understand what we're doing here.” Caesura leaves the room. She looks thoughtful for a moment; then she gets up and begins writing in her diary.
Downstairs in the hotel, MakenZero has returned and is washing his hands. Late afternoon of the next day the landlady is talking to the girl. “Good work. You've done enough for today.” “Thank you.” She goes back to her room to find MakenZero asleep at the windowsill. She thought to herself, “To go mad enough not to hate this justice, for the sake of the new age. The vanguard (The foremost position in an army or fleet advancing into battle) of mad justice, but when I look at him sleep like that, he’s just a boy, not even of age yet.” She picks up her shawl (I stand corrected, it’s a very long scarf and can be used as a blanket.) and reaches out to spread it over him. He wakes all at once eyes alerted and has his sword to her throat before she can move. They stay frozen for a moment. Then he pushes her away where she lands on the floor on her knees.
“I’m sorry. I bragged that I would never kill a civilian and now look at me. If you had come any closer I would have--,” she put her shawl down across his lap, “Let me stay here a while to hold back your madness.” MakenZero’s fingers close around the silk, “I thought about my answer whether I would have killed you, if you had had a sword. The answer is no. I wouldn't kill you. Whatever happened, I could never do that to you. Not to you. Never.”
(Real Entry)
Sorry it took awhile. It’s been an interesting week. Getting some college stuff done, I hope I pass English. Let me pass at least two of the classes. Man I really don’t need all of this. I had a grammar test today, not sure how I did on it though. I can see the mistakes a lot better, but I still couldn’t tell you how to fix it exactly. Hopefully things will go well. I’m going to stuffy over that more. If I don’t do well on the grammar then I think that’s what’s going to break me. I have to make that class at least Reading class I’m blowing it out of the water. I’m well out of high school reading level. I’m about as good as a sophomore in college.
Everyone in that class has been telling me that I should get into media. I can remember lots of cartoons and commercials. And give dates on which a movie can get out and such. All I do is watch TV and keep it in mind at times. But anyways lets move on.
I’ve been trying to install WINDVD. So I did get install, and the first thing I played on it. THUNDERCATS HOOOOOO!!!!! Oh yeah! It was soooo awesome hehe. ^_^ Wait your probably wonder how I got ThunderCats DVDs aren’t you? Lol Well they’re not the full ones you would see in the stores. It’s just the episodes only. No special stuff. It’s not cleared up. But think about it. ThunderCats won’t be on DVD for quite a while. I’ll ask my brother about it. He asked his boss if he could get them on DVD. I guess Cartoon Network has a way to do that.
One more thing to tell you guys. They found my WALLET!!! It was still at Georgia Tech where I left from late at night. The funny thing is. I didn’t have my pants on. (Ok that was just wrong) No it’s because I was playing basket ball. So I rolled up my pants with my wallet. I had to pull it out to give my friend a card from it. But for some reason I don’t remember anything about the wallet after that. It was weird. I mean It was in my hands. And I could put it backing my pants because I didn’t have them on. (ok go ahead laugh your head off!) It’s just strange. It was in my hands, than I don’t find it the next day. That’s so weird. Hope you enjoy the story. Thanks for tuning in. And I’ll be sure to come by. My internet connection has been messed up as well. Don’t know what’s going on with it.
